aero wipers for mk1 octy??

i have brought some aero wiper blades for my octy mk1 vrs but didnt realise they are different fitment!! i got the right one;s 19 for passenger and 21 for drivers side but i obviously need the wiper arms from anouther car can anyone shed some light on this or the part numbers that i need to get them for vw or audi plz ????

or even what cars had them and i can do a scrappy search thanx ian

They were an option on the MK4 golf you any VW dealer will be able to get them for you or you can get them from VAG Parts

VAG Part Nos:

Drivers side blade: 1J2 955 426B

Passenger blade: 1J2 955 425B

Drivers arm: 1J2 955409 D

Passenger arm: 1J2 955 410D

do a scout of the scrap yards but beware that the early mk4 golfs didn't have aero wipers

Why not just buy Aero wipers with standard fit adapters that are readily available nowadays?

Because they don't look quite so nice? The mk4 golf ones have less height to them, and look better :)

ah i just asked same question on another post, I'm not sure the lower profile arm is worth the extra 40/50 quid tbh?

Never had a problem with Valeo retro-fit ones :)

Me either and i will be ordering another set as they have lasted twice as long as the standard Bosh ones ever used to
