Hi what made you get rid of the furby in the first place ?

Nice Volvo what engine does it have coz just by looking at an S40 with those alloys you cant visually tell if its a 1.8 ,D5,or a t5

Bit of a sleeper,iv driven plenty of Volvos before and they are very nice,t5's lovely ,especialy a manual as most of them tend to be Autos

I love the floating console in them too, very trick!

Hope you enjoy it,probably one of the safest cars on the road today!!

Needs lowering! :P

I dont actually know tbh.

The volvo is a present from the parents for graduating from uni.

Its only a 2.0 tdi 136bhp unit but it moves enough for my needs :D

The console is very trick, i agree  the premium audio system is by far the best sounding OEM audio system ive ever had the pleasure of hearing.

Its got a few toys and gadgets that will make the 100miles a day commute all the more relaxing

Jason---- Yes it does, priced up some kw coilys. they only do the V2 for the new s40 and they are 1000

Sometimes i wish i went to Uni...Ah well

The 2.0 tdi is a nice unit, lots of low down grunt which is always nice;)

Congrats for graduating !!!

Ahhh sad moment !

i wonder if the next guy who buys your car will know it's history

iv had some bad news the other day and it looks like mine is going to get striped aswell.......you dont fancy another stip job with a fabia do you ?

I was jokingly aiming my comment at the fabia. :D

gayer, thats he last i'll say on the matter:(;):D

Which unit is the volvo's tdi ? It's not a ford unit is it ?

Yes, its the Ford TDCI from the Crocus... Not a bad unit in all fairness, a lot smoother than the PD130, albeit not as punchy.

That's a shame to see it go. :( Enjoy the new car tho :D!

(Will they inform the new owner that the car wasn't standard?)

Off-Topic here: Tom... Why is there a BMW in your profile picture? Are you having a laugh or have you got ANOTHER car?

we had a blue metallic S40 sport in the workshop yesterday , it looked quite nice , except for the cream leather interior

it had the D5 engine in it , twin exhausts , nice

His Fabia was by far the quickest diesel I've been in. Mental, by no stretch of the imagination. Shame to see it go after all the trials and tribulations.

But, onto pasteurs new eh John? :D

I had a feeling you'd get one of these after you'd mentioned it....you seemed pretty keen. ;)
