Have been looking for a while at Touran's due to needing more room for my growing family but cost has always knocked it on the head....until this week ! I am now the proud owner of a 54 plate Touran 1.9TDi SE in met black and those all important extra seats.It was a part ex against a Porsche Boxster ! The guy obviously did not need all those seats anymore...result for me ! Paid trade price for it,got a full valet,still taxed till June 09,MOT till Jan 09,1/4 tank of the go,go juice and it has FSH from main agent ( it will now have full Porsche service history from now on....may as well keep it in the family !)

Happy bunny and Mrs Skud is happy,pity Skoda have not had the chance to do such a vehicle or it would have been a Skud badge up front.Now i need to find out what can be done to these cars,being a VW,i guess there is a shed load of stuff out there.

My Dad has a Touran (2.0TDI Sport) with a few tweeks.... it's nice and handels a lot better then you'd imagine for a car with van like proportions.

Yeh,i gave it a blast on Sunday and they handle so well around the country lanes plus cruising on the motorway they are a dream,best in class me thinks ! The best thing is the fuel economy......50+ mpg and that was on a short run,i can live with that !

As for mods,joined Club Touran and found our friends at Awesome have been playing with a Touran......hurry up Sarah and get back off your jollies !

Even though i have this new bus,i still own my fleet of old Skuds so i've not turned my back on the winged arrow !
