Are these bulbs any good? Find much of a difference?

I like them, an improvement over stock for sure.

ive got the halfords brilliance ones in that were mentioned above, certainly an improvement over the factory ones and certainly does help to point out that your xenons are actually on dip. have always used them in my last car too which occasionly suffered the flash problem where dips were the halfords brilliance too.

I had my lights checked during last service. I asked them to check the main beam alignment as it seemed wrong, but when I went to get the car they told me that they had to make full alignment as dipped beam was also wrong.

Funny that the car was in it's first MOT last month and it passed with flying colors.

Good news is that the main beam alignment is perfect now. It was WAYYYY too high before even after I lowered the main beams quite a lot after fitting a HID kit in them.

Now the light field in front of the car is MUCH more even. You cannot see the line between dipped and main beam anymore. Also the lights seem much more powerful now as they don't point up high and light just the tree tops

good, i will have mine looked at when it goes in for a service in a few thousand miles and beleive me i will be doing a write up or too

i have stu, time and time again and various threads over the past year on here. the lights seem to improve a bit since the car had its geometry checked after the recent alloy smasher. but thats just on the road area. the height seems to be one day to high and the next just balancing on what it should be. probably just needs the beam slightly dropping now and that probably make it perfect.

But as the car should be in for a service in the next 2-3 months im gonna wait till then and get them to go through all the little problems im having.

However i think i cracked the door seal problem, pushed all the seals outwards, undone and re attached each seal clip and then closed the door quite hard, not had any trouble since on that.
