Original xenon?

Featured Replies

Hi

Is it possible, to get a Fabia 2, with original xenon, and curve light?

If not, does anyone know how to use the headlights from a Roomster, with xenon and curve light on a fabia 2?

Best Regards

Morten

The new Fabia is not available with xenon headlights, and neither is the Roomster. :thumbdwn:

Tou can choose between three types of headlamps on both the Roomster and the New Fabia, and these are: conventional headlamps with H4 bulbs, DE "bi-halogen" lamps with one H7 bulb for both the high and low beam, and the "top of the range" lamps which turn as you turn the steeringwheel if the speed is over walking pace which also features one H7 bulb per lamp.

Maybe xenon will be an option when/if the vRS version arrives :)

Enjoy!

No Xenon option so far....

But you can do it with a proper kit...

yeah, but a aftermarket kit, isent good enough here in denmark.

You need headlight washers, automatick light height adjusment, and a headlight aproved for xenon.

And yes, you will get caught, if you dont have it orignal mounted.

It costs about 50 pounds per xenon kit( if you have xenon in both high and low light, it will be 100 pounds, and 50 more if you have in fogligts also), and a trip to MOT, wich is about 40 pounds.

Can the Fabia 2, be delivered with the curve headlight system as original item, and curve foglights?

I'm not aware of such an option on the FabiaII or Roomster. There is a Cornering Fog option though, if you desire AFS try the new Ibiza...

Does the Curve headlights also adjust the height of the beam?

What is AFS?

Does the Curve headlights also adjust the height of the beam?

Not automaticly, ... Only from the inside

What is AFS?

It is Adaptive Frontlight System in Superb...

The system for controlling the front headlights makes use of the possibility of changing the geometry of the front headlights light beam and adapting the lighting in front of the vehicle to suit different driving conditions.

Same in the Ibiza see: THE NEW SEAT IBIZA -> Sport

?koda Auto - The new ?koda Superb - Homepage skip vid, 2nd category "TECHNOLOGY FINDS INNOVATION" then look at the AFS skit nice visually explained definition!

Quote from Skoda-Auto:

"Bi-Xenon headlamps with AFS The headlamps of the new model Superb, the unusual shape of which passes all the way to the sides of the wings, lend the front section of the vehicle a dynamic appearance. They form a powerfully dominant feature and a part of the elegant design of the entire vehicle which is impossible to overlook.

Bi-Xenon headlamps feature outstanding illumination and, combined with the new AFS (Adaptive Frontlight System), multifunctionality. They automatically adapt the lighting to various travel situations, swivel into turnings, depending on the speed and actual driving conditions change the illuminated surface and offer various lighting regimes, e.g. for city, motorway or driving in rain.

The “tourist light” function is used by drivers entering a country with the opposite operating system than that for which the vehicle was manufactured. For instance, a car intended for driving on the right will not dazzle oncoming drivers in a country where they drive on the left."

Can the Fabia be orderet with automatic beam hight adjustment, with curve headligts?

Or maybe a kit from kufatec.de, like it can be done on a passat.

Can the Fabia be orderet with automatic beam hight adjustment, with curve headligts?

I guess not, because there is no automatic beam height adjustment for Fabia or Roomsters yet, even as an option...

Sad.

The Fabia Mk1, had the option(atleast on the RS model), to be fitted with xenon.

So is it possible to use the xenon lights beam adjuster parts from the MK1 Fabia on the Mk2?

The things i mean is these:

Sensor for the suspension arm, front and rear

Wiring kit, can make it my self, if i get a schematics

Control unit for xenon adjustment

Here is a kit for a passat KUFATEC GmbH - aLWR Komplettset Passat 3BG 33354

So if anyone of you have experience on adding original xenon to a Mk1 Fabia, or knows someone who does, please contact me.

I don't think a Bi xenon kit will work

The bulbs are H7.
