Now out of warranty how much would a flywheel cost and except for the dealers where can you obtain one from, its for my car

Yours has a DMF problem does it?

I have seen quotes which include clutch also for about £700+ :eek: but i think they were main dealer prices.You would need to put a good quality unit in as a replacement.It would be better if they did a SMF for this car as i would also consider converting to this too.

Its a manual version now on 68K.

How easy is it to change a DMF oneself ?

Anything special needed ?

Ive done a few standard clutches myself on cars & landrovers. Ive got a big garage, plus access to the hydraulic ramp on the farm next door.
