Forge 007 on Audis?

Featured Replies

How similar are VAG engines. Swapped the Mk1 VRS for a Mk11 VRS tdi, sold my Forge 007p to a mate with a 1.8t A6, months down the line and still without payment  he has now turned around and said he doesn't want it as it apparently won't fit.

Is he telling porkies and should i just try get the money off him or am i going to end up with a spare DV in the shed?

hi mate if you get it back how much do you want for it

thank you

He might need some different pipework, but unless the void under the front bumper/grill is smaller on the A6 (and I don't see that happening), the cooler should physically fit.

Either way, "months without paying for" or returning it is extracting the urine!

not much of a mate to try that on with you :finger:

Agree with bryan!

How old is the A6? The newer ones run the 1.8 Tfsi engine and i am not sure how the DV is setup on these.

Yes , as far as I am aware . all 1.8T`s are all the same?

They all share the same engines too

The one in your vRS would be an AUQ engine

Same engine as in the Leon Cupra , Mk4 Golf Anni , A3`s , Audi TT`s

So I would have thought that it could also be the same engine

Even the 2.7`s Bi Turbo`s have 2 DV`s the same as what you have in the vRS , but only 2 of them ;)

Actually Sarah, you're probably in the best position to check whether or not Forge do a "007" kit for the A6, and if there are any differences apart from connecting pipework if they do. (hint hint)

Ahh , but I am afraid , I am not at work yet

I am still on my hols

But I did have a quick check , and it seems yes is the answer
