Estate rear tweeters

Featured Replies

OK here's the problem - The drivers side rear tweeter in the door seems to be a bit intermittent.

The head unit is a Symphony out of an Ocatvia which all works fine with sound coming from all other speakers in both the front (all four components) and rear (all the other three components). I've checked this by changing the fade and balance etc.

The tweeter won't come back on of it's own accord unless I crank the volume right up after which it works fine until switched off again, after which it doesn;t work.

So... given that all the other speakers are working I'm assuming it's either the tweeter or the crossover so anybody got working spares I can have or suggestions please?

Ta.

Ill check later if they are the same as the octavia, as I have 2 spare at home.

PM me to remind me later, if i don't PM you first.
