But Sutil was a lap down and therefore would have been blue flagged as soon as they got on the track, so why not let the lead driver out first (apart from Force India not liking Ferrari following Monaco)?

Sutil was already in the pit lane, and heading out. He cant see the stupid LED lights, so had no way of knowing he would be leaving his box unlike other teams that still have a lollipop guy.

And why should he have to stop? If he was to be blue flagged on track, then that's what will happen.

Sounds more like every one should bow before a ferrari these days.

I can't remember the line up any more but it's possible that Sutil was racing for position as well so yeilding to Massa may have affected is race, it's not just about what the boys at the front are doing.

I don't understand why there is a call for Massa to be penalised when nothing happened and yet Nakajima runs into the back of Alonso putting him out of the race and has merely a racing incident!

Out on the road, if you drive into the back of someone it's your fault, no question.

You have a point there. Would the Team McSlimeball fans like to try and explain why (other than "because Filipe drives for Ferrari") they are calling for a greater penalty for "not running into another car" than for "running into another car and putting it out of the race"?

Not sure I agree with that. Judging by the way blue flags are waved on the track when the leaders are coming through, any middle or lower order battles are effectivily stopped until the leaders have passed.

This often mucks up others that are racing for position at the time and often decides the race for them.

I don't see why the blue flags shouldn't apply in the pits, which is after all, part of the circuit (witness Schumacher wining the 1998 British Grand Prix whilst in the pits for a stop-go penalty).
