Having won the August Malt House Meet competition, I'm now fully installed in my new position of PA to Postman Pat, and Temporary Assistant Butty Ordering Person.

And seeing as he's off on his little jaunt to visit a few of our European neighbours, here's a reminder for the September Malt House Meet

I'll be there, but for a shorter time. Off down to Peterborough on that Thurs night, ready for a Friday 12th visit to a certain garage in the vicinity :thumbup:

But I'll sink a few butties first if they're going spare :rofl:

Sorry guys - there must be a computer jinx on this evening :grumpy:

I'm still at work, so won't be able to get there at a reasonable hour. Plus I need to get to Peterborough too!

hi guys, new to the forum. im not far from the malt, and im sure i could find it. considering coming along and bringing the vrs.

are the meets well atteneded? how long do they last? time they start etc?

the October meet was a bit of a flop :o but as a rule anywhere from 8 to 20 people will be around, from 7.30 'till when everyone as had enough 10.30-11, it is very relaxed and informal.

The next meet will be 13/11 ie the 2nd Thursday of the month, look out for the thread in this forum, if enough folks sign up then we are fortunate enough that the Malt lay on a bit of a supper for us gratis :D

It was only a "flop" because you left early, you tired old git ;)
