Fuel gauge/tank sender failure?

My fuel gauge is not working properly. No fault logged in VAGCOM. I tested the instrument using the VAGCOM feature and appears fine. I suspect the sender unit.

Booked in under warranty next week. So how many more of you have had this issue?

If you are still around, what was the problem - Fuel Sender unit?

Anyone else had this problem, mines playing silly buggers.
