HELP, stupid question regards polish (probably)

Featured Replies

Just washed car, degreased/de tarred, washed, clayed and washed again :OThen managed to get 2/3 of it polished with meg#7 show car glaze and the heavens opened

I know that this stuff gives f-all protection but it does make it look good :PNow the question is come tomorrow should i just rinse the car down and dry with LT and just continue where I left off or will this show up? Probably a daft question but don't know how durable the polish is on its own and don't really want to start again from scratch. Once the car is fully polished I was planning on a coat of ES-P and then a couple of layers of wax. TIA

The polish, although not too durable will still last the night and a rainshower, i would give it a quick mild wash and dry tomorrow and just continue where you left off if you have not driven it at all.

I agree. Some time I find that the car looks better after a wash shortly after a polish

Just found this thread...... Having come to a similar situation just now..... Washed, clayed & polished the car only to run out of time to finish off with the wax..... I'll leave it for now and continue with the wax tomorrow.

Bloody mortgage renewal meetings!!!!!

Cheers

Dave.
