Can anybody tell me what uprated turbo's fit as a direct replacement without much work for the KO3s please?

Also where to get them from? I tried ATPturbos but they dont seem to cater much for Skoda but obviously maybe something from the GT series might fit ?

Nothing really fits. You could use the hybrid k03s turbo with the k04 internals or the k04-001 turbo but i don't think will be as good as the hybrid k03s.

You would also need a Audi TT maf, injectors and a custom remap too.

Nothing is an easy job. Most people's opinion are that it's worth going all the way such as IHI or garrat GT28RS because it's not that much more. I'm still toying with the IHI route, may do it this winter

People say it isnt or it is worth going the gt28rs route!??!

Is there alot of extensive modification needed to get something like the gt28rs to fit??? compared with just fitting a hybrid ko3s?

If your after massive power then yeah. What I'm saying is it's a MASSIVE job which ever turbo you choose so you might as well go all the way.

Depending on the current spec of your car, for an IHI conversion: say if standard about 7-8 grand if you already have intercooler, exhaust, dump valve, boost controller expect around 5-6 grand fully fitted and mapped.
