I'm a brand spanking new shiny Skoda Newbie.

Just collected my 2005 plate Octavia 2.0 TDI PD Elegance tonight

So I thought I'd sign up to a Skoda forum or two - so here I am.

I may well be asking lots of questions and be warned I am clueless about cars n motoring and this is the 1st Turbo car I have owned, the 1st deisel, 1st six speed gearbox and 1st Skoda - so chances are I shall be asking lots of real dumb questions :O:(.

So please be very gentle and patient with me

So if I have questions re say how to get best MPG, driving style etc do I post in the octavia section ? If not where ?

Mpg, you should get around 50mpg. I used to get 47ish, Swmbo about 65ish.
