My 0-60mph/0-100mph video...

Featured Replies

I know threads that mention the word Honda or vtec generally get locked pretty quickly, but I thought I'd stick this video up anyway, as the results surprised me in a good way! I urge people not to compare the findings to other marques, as I do not like getting my threads locked. :D

As there is no official figures for the Integra DC5R, I thought I'd try to obtain some myself. I've seen all sorts of figures in mags/reviews from 5.6 through to 7.1 for the 0-60...

I know a capturing video from a camera suckered onto the side window then timing it in quicktime is hardly technical, but knowing the speedo isn't too far out on GPS, the results can't be wildly inaccurate.

*Please note I'm pretty cruel on the gear changes, it was for the purposes of the video only, this does not in anyway reflect on how I drive my car on a daily basis. I love my car! :o

I recorded a 0-60mph of 5.0secs and 0-100 of 13.5secs... :D

Here's the video...

Quick:thumbup:

Yep, certainly a very quick car indeed!!

Very nice - Starting to miss my vtec now!

Just got to wait for "my project x" to be finished:D

nice noise :)

That jump from 40 to 60 is quite odd - what causes that? :)

Very quick though!

I've actually uprated my engine mounts now, and it's much better, need another run... ;)
