Did you order the wood trim? If not, then I'd be really interested to see what the fake metal trim on the dash looks like.

Oh probably I'm not sure what it is. I understand it is saying that it has no connection, but it does with every other car we have, just the damn Superb.

Popped into Autohaus Northampton today.

They have a TDi Elegance in Black with dark rear windows, black leather.

The bonnet was still warm having apparantly arrived minutes earlier.

Another one is due for the launch weekend in Steel gray. (no surprise there then )

Only problem now is Mrs Goonybird didn't approve. :(

Our second Superb should be here within the next couple of days a Mocca Brown SE. Then our third one should be a week behind that one which is a Silver Elegance.

I need or order another one for stock and don't know what to order. Tempted to order something with a light leather interior either Highland Green or Storm Blue. Ah! Decisions, decisions!

Having seen the Superb in Black today, and previously a Superb in Cappucino at Progress, iI have to admit that it suits the lighter colors.

Dark colors appear to accentuate the heavy (clumsy?) styling at the rear.

Dont normally like Browns (especially Gordon ) but the Moccha with ivory leather would look quite smart.

My local dealer has just received their Elegance demonstrator, which is Storm Blue, Ivory leather and wood trim. It looks very, very nice. The leather really compliments the blue colour, and the wood trim looks okay too.

What engine do you reckon?

I've already got a CR170 DSG, CR170 Manual, PD140 Manual. I'm thinkin maybe a 1.8TSi DSG. Would make a nice car in Storm with Ivory. Not sure on wood trim with the Storm Blue exterior it will look like a mismatch of colours maybe.

Picked my Octy up from DM Keith in Bradford last night.

They had one parked up round the back - dark metallic red with nose prints on the windows

Not sure on the model - couldn't drool too long as SWMBO (who had given me a lift down) was scowling at me from her Micra

First one I have seen in the flesh and I was mighty impressed.
