Yay! Our Steel Grey Elegance 170CR DSG has just turned up.

Looks great, already been out for a quick spin and it is fantastic.

Bit gutted I didn't order the wood trim or the auto-dimming rear view mirror but 'eh. I've got sunset glass, floor mats, and park assist.

Steel Grey really suits the car with the Black Leather.

Once it is finished being cleaned and PDi'd I'll go out and get some photos of the colour.

If anyone is local and wants to have a play with the new car feel free to pop down, just let me know first when you are coming.

I also ordered it with the 3-spoke steering wheel and paddleshift which looks and feels excellent.

I really wanted to get the 3-spoke wheel, but they don't offer it on a manual Elegance. I could have got a 3-spoke wheel without the multi-function controls, but didn't really see the point in that.

If you are that close then Garlands should have the same.

They should be getting it tomorrow so I will give them a call and post it here.

Quick question, if mines is being built in the w/c 22nd sept when do you think I will get it? My dealer is being a bit vague probably understandably they wont want to promise and find out they don't get it on time.

It's amazing how the non professional shots look muich better than the ones in the brochures. A tasty looking number, really like the colour and I'm not usually a silver fan but this one looks fairly solid, bit like 5 series colour I've seen

Mine is being built the week commencing the 29th September, and I've been told to expect delivery in the 1st or 2nd week of November.

On that basis, I would expect your car to be ready either the last week of October or 1st week of November.

its nice. but not sure it will work with cream leather and i want a change form the black interior of my current two VAG vehicles.

mmm -the only thing that is putting me of is its nearly the same colour as my passat and my outgoing A6 is blue !! but i want cream lether and not sure what other colours will work with it .rosso is too dark and amazonian green almost looks black in some lights.

so now i am wondering about satin grey - looks like a pale blue to me . oh no - then it woudl be the same as my beemer convertible which is pale blue with a dark blue hood and tan leather.....decisions decisions.

Go for the brown , that will look lovely with cream leather

Just been and sat in the one that Garlands have.

I hate to admit it but I am quite impressed. It was a CR 170 Elegance and very nice it was too in Steel or something like that.

well i could mention the BMW race car that i run and then there is the lotus 7 kit car....oh no i sold that last month...i got up to 6 cars and thought i really should sell one !!!
