I've got a VRS.. looked at a Lupo GTI, not as good as I'd hoped... so stayed Skoda!

geez they's fast.. and mines 100% stock, not modded!

Paid £5850.. right for the age...04, but a shy over for the fact it's done 50k.. but, to be honest.. it's such acared for car it was worth it. Was a demo car, then owned by a guy who immigrated a year later and then the current lady owner has had it for the last 3 years.. she was very, very sad to let it go, and I can see why! Almost felt bad driving away.

Right'o.. best get rid of the Elegance now (that is, after switching the drawer under the stereo.. and netted parcel sehlf over) ;-)

Oh man,.. You know I'll be searching'n'posting more now!

Cool. I reckon the Lupo would be quicker (better power/weight), but a Fabia VRS is probably easier going, and feels very quick. I love mine.

Thanks for the congrats.. already finding a smile stuck accross my face when i put me foot down...

I'm not the most experienced of drivers (2 years).. learnt late (I'm 26, had no need before..but always loved cars)....on drive home stalled 3 times at lights (hehe).. but couldn't help but laugh as each time becuase as to not annoy people behind I made a "1.4 16v" quick get away, but of course unintentionally wheel span the vrs all 3 times.. opps, lol! but wow!.. and I was worried about turbo lag.. don't even know I'm born sometimes! lol!

Oh, and just as a side line.. it came with a whole second set of alloys (though, a little worn) and 2 good+2 bad) tyres! so that's atleast a ton off when I flog em (before I get offers.. I made a deal there and then with my mechanic who checked the car out with me, so not for sale I'm afraid)

Nah, I just think it's a bit unecessary to have pictures of standard cars when we know what they look like thats all. Unless its a particularily arty shot of course. No offence, like.

Nice to be able to choose. Good choice. Just don`t try taking one on the corners or the straights, but , you can get more shopping in and passengers feel safer.

Congrats...... I paid £5700 for my 04 just under 3mths ago now and thought i'd done ok, that was with 64k on the clock. So sounds like you got a good deal...... enjoy.....
