Superb II review on Honest John website

Featured Replies

Just to add this is a really special car for Skoda. Inside it is more like a BMW and the auto park feature is incredible - seeing the stering wheel twiddle away and the car fitting into a tiny gap is amazing. I kept thinking I was going to bump the car behind, but no, the Skoda is a better parker than I!

No rear wiper... what is that all about then?

Skoda is one for history and heritage - it is a nod to the Estelle - that had no rear wiper either:P!

They Octy MK I facelift and MK II did. They did because the MK I originally didn't and it was one of the major complaints.

It doesn't need a rear wiper as it is a saloon, the old Superb didn't have a rear wiper either, nor did the Fabia Saloon.

But it's no more a saloon than the Octy II.

It's a twinback and the octy II is a knotchback.

Both have the bootlid type item and you will still get spray and water running down the rear.

I had a 306 sedan and hated not having a rear wiper. They made it standard the year after ours was made.
