Vauxhall Agila does not handle like its on rails...

Featured Replies

While not very safe driving I've just seen something somewhat amusing...

As I approached a T junction at the bottom of a road, which is flanked by parking bays either side, a woman came caning from the left into the junction cutting across my side of the road as if it were the apex of a much larger corner... her speed causing her to drift wide into the parking bay area and almost into the kerb! Thankfully I was turning left away from her racing line and equally thankfully there was nothing parked in her runoff space!

Worrying all this happened in a 30 mph zone and there's a zebra crossing in front of a school a few yards further up the road!

I would have loved to have been a bit later and seen her face...

Well d'oh!!! It's a V@*xh@11!!!

I had one as a loan car when mine was in for a service. Frightening in so many repects. The handling was to put it mildly, pants. The brakes were woeful and roundabouts in the wet are scary places, understeer is your enemy there.

I know it isn't a performance car and it shouldn't be driven as such, but if something is capable of trundling along at 70mph, it needs to be able to steer and stop.

They handle like a rotting cabbage in the rain. We've got one as a loan car for VX customers, and it really is epic fail.
