Hi. Anybody got an equivalent fluid for the power steering top up Haynes says Skoda hyd oil G 002-00 but wonder if some other makers equivalent.

Since posting this have found that Comma CHF 11S at £10 approx per ltr is alternative.

G004000M2 is the new part number - approx £8 per litre

I've heard also that the OE stuff is the safest to use too as some other stuff ruins the rack seals,

For the price of the OEM stuff its not really worth the risk.

That's the stuff I've always used in mine. Recently bled and refilled the whole system with it. Meets all the VW specs.
