was really bad today, I've lived here for years now, and some of the flooded fields/rivers I've seen today have been the worst! :eek: some new lakes have apperared around bassenthwaite lake! still, will make for an entertaining drive

Cheers Dave, you got my good side. At least you can't see the ice cream dripping off my elbow:rofl:. Anyway, excellant meet thanks to Ian for picking the bumpiest roads I've got a real bad head but it was worth it. Nice to meet new people and hope to see you all again soon.

It was a cracking day, I will get some pics uploaded tomorrow when I get back to edinburgh as only on a limited net connection, but got to meet Jav, Vik, Jay?? I think, simon (cracking fun mate, so tempted to get one now) and name the forums name and the usual suspects in the North West Region.

Had a really 'brisk' drive thanks Ian, sorry it had to be cut short due to SWMBO projectile vomitting in the passenger seat :eek: I had to laugh, she was making the funniest noisies....lol Thank goodness i always carry a spare carrier bag for all those impulse buys at Aldi It was fantastic to see girlie Briskodians driving at my kind of pace I wanted to be in the battle at the front with Sharky and The Captain but it took me ages to manage to get past Skodagirl, you're alright you are See you all next time i hope (without someone who gets travel sick....yuk!)

I had a 2hr trip today, of which the last half was on some fun road... But was stuck behind 3 caravans, a Roomster towing a trailer tent, and numerous Harleys :(
