Has anyone got these? What sort of quality are they? How easy are they to fit?

I am thinking that the red ones will go well with the silver as this also matches the colour of the brake discs and the tail lights! But will this look a bit chavy? The other option is the black ones!

Your thoughts?

They look crap IMO

IMO they wont suit the car at all.. in fact the only cars they do suit are actual rally cars.. :)

Absolutely Dire imo :o

Noooooooo look terrible

Leave well alone!

unfortunately I think I agree with you all! Thats why i asked for opinions! I really want them to look good but im just not sure that they will.

I appreciate the comments though.

There have only been a few people on here that have them (or have had them), Bahnstormer and Fluffmeister are two on a red and blue vRS respectively.

Personally not my cuppa tea but it's up to you matey.

Surely rallyflapz are about the only thing that haven't been on your car over the last year aren't they??

shhhhhhhhhhhhhh, its the next mod dont ruin his creativity:thumbup:

Personally i think they look ch@vvy, but each to their own i suppose.

I've got some black ones fitted, but mostly to keep the huge ammounts of sh*&e that getts stuck to my car on my route to work.

I think they look quite discreet.

As already stated; I have a set. Red on a Red car.

IMHO Red on a Silver car will look 'chav' or 'Rally nut' depending on your outlook on life. For your silver car, black is my recommendation.

From a practical point of view they are very effective at keeping road dirt off the car, but watch out when reversing back toward a kerb, if you keep them full size at the rear, as they will get trapped between the kerb and wheel with the likelyhood of being ripped of. I know I've done it. The solution is to cut about 6 - 7cm off the length.

Here's some pics;-

I have black on black car. They do look good IMO but after a year and a bit they need a bit of attention.

I help set up the rallyflapz for Fabia VRS so you can all blame me (thats why I have them for free). I just wanted some mudflaps that work and fit properly rather than the oem ones which do nothing to help mud and stone chips etc.

End of the day you see some pretty aweful looking cars on here and yet people think they look good. It's all a matter of opinion.

If I had the choice, I probably would go for some proper OEM ones that fit properly but they don't do them without mods to fit them properly. Maybe I will buy OEM ones and use the hairdryer trick to fit them. I know they won't work just a car needs mudflaps and just looks naked without.
