it doesn't really matter though, it's nice to be different and your car really is different.:thumbup:

Does the fabia not have a crash bar behind the front bumper?

Yes it does. You can just see it in Jason's pic on the RR. It has been cut though to allow maximum air flow to the FMIC

I'm all up for people chasing performance, but i cant help but cringe when i see people cutting though the crash bar for FMIC's. But thats me, each to their own.

The main horizontal bit is fully intact which I reckon holds most of the structure of the bar. :)

Good result Jason - when's the mapping as Im sure theres more hidden in that engine ? ?

"soon" - need to run some more vagcom logs tonight to help the mapper out. I forgot to do the group that included actual & requested boost at the weekend. :o

That is fookin bonkers...well done.

If that's the mapper i think it is that requests logs your car will smoke a lot less

Has a very "O le!" style name :D He actually mapped my car the first time for Allard so it should be more like a "tweak here, nudge there" for him. :D

wow those fuel coolers are quite small then?

how hard are they to install then?

could a novice to intermediate level person do it?

Miguel perhaps?

Miguel perhaps?

Right part of the world, wrong name. ;)

Joel - fuel cooler was easy to install. Securing it was harder than re-routing all the fuel pipe.

cool mate - cannot wait to see what you come up with...

Bas

Miguel tweaked a few bits to my old set up and got silly power out of it!

Without stealing the thread, do you have pics of the crash bar? I believe this is a very big problem I face on my PD130 Seat as the bumper and then crash member udnerneath is very much in the way.

However like mentioned above, I dont like the idea of not having one, or cutting into it 'that' much for the sake of a little more air?

I was thinking of loads of little holes across it, and then welding on plates of metal top and bottom to strengh it again, however the costs they put into developing it, for me to start messing with it and hoping it is just as good, doesnt add up! lol

Thios picture shows (old one) that I've not had much taken out the crashbar. :)
