Picked up a silver 56 plate Fabia vRS today in Middlesborough, drove 300ish miles up to Aberdeen and averaged 67mpg!!!:eek: Or so the computer told me, is this possible? I wasn't driving too smoothly and did have a bit of fun on some twisty roads......67mpg??? If this is real then WOW!!

Couple of niggles with the car, the first I assume will be covered by the manufacturers warranty - the drivers side rear door won't open, either by using the outside or inside door handles....all other doors open fine although the drivers door handle sticks sometimes, maybe a bit of WD40 will fix that?

Also there's a nasty black stain on the light part of the drivers seat which I hope will come out via a valet/steam cleaner.

My main question is about the rear door not opening....any ideas?

Glad you enjoyed your trip home in your new fab, I still remember the day I got mine!!

Maybe it is the ultimate fix for the water ingress problems - just weld the door shut a la Dukes of Hazard ;-)
