My vRS

Featured Replies

This is my wifes car (I sold her BMW convertible) which she wasn't entirely happy about, especially when I told her I was replacing it with a diesel skoda:rofl:

We are of the age group, where skoda's really were the last car you would drive out of choice, obviously as we all know today's skoda's are nothing like the skoda's of yester year.

The beemer was a beautiful car, and great when the sun came out (not so often of late) but it was an expensive lump of metal to have sitting on the drive often not used to run the kids round town because of the fuel consumption at around 20-24mpg depending on who was driving it :)

I took my wife for a test drive in the vRS and she immediately liked the punchy power delivery and the fact that it would return 50mpg round town if driven normally certainly appealed.

It would save us quite a bit of money every month, not to mention road tax and general up keep each year.

We have had it for about 4 months now and we both love to drive it as it is a fun and cheap to run :)

I can see why she'd prefer driving the BM

The stickers although effective are quite in your face.

Yes they are quite obvious aren't they

The idea of the stickers was to generate local awareness and they certainly do that.

Although I would prefer to have cars without advertising all over them I cannot argue with the marketing value that our cars driving round provide.

We are getting to the stage where car stickers will not be required longer, term although I do quite like them now :)

 I just asked my wife if she'd drive that, I think the forum swear filter would remove her reply!!

Yes that was my wifes intial response

:rofl: well it wouldn't be my wifes first choice, but in business you have invest money and I didn't want to borrow money so it was the beemer or holiday this year :)

We had to find some capital and look at reducing costs somewhere, 24439.attachunfortunately the beemer got the chop.
