I'd forgotten how good it is

Featured Replies

I had the Octy out for a fun run for the first time in too long on Saturday.

I was on the B955 Clova to Dykehead. It's very twisty all 2nd and 3rd gear stuff not much risk of getting past 60 and no plod. The run up is a bit poo but coming back the other way you can see for further and traffic isn't a worry (though the sheep are).

I'd forgotten just how fast the VRS can go I've been so used to driving it in economode. Loads of grip in the corners too even from my half worn contis.

Put a grin on my face for the rest of the day :D

The car didn't start well on Saturday (think SWMBO left the interior light on) and the little run seemed to blow the cobwebs out. Made me glad I bought the car again.

Always nice to have a blast!

The more I drive my Octy the more I like it :)

(pretty soon I'll be making up excuses to go for a spin :D )

with the cooler weather, it is always good for a blast, I remember how my petrol cars were always faster with the cooler, denser air.
