bushes

yup its standard, not sure if the arb is 19 mm or not yet but i will check tomoz

Powerflex don't do 19mm for the octavia only 21mm and 23mm.

But they list a 19mm one for the TT so that may fit,but i would check first.

think i might replace the lot at that price do i need to replace the front arb bush mounts too or can i re use the old ones, i also phoned my local dealer today to find out what size the arb was i gave em my chassis no but they could not tell me as it just came up on his screen with just the part ,i have looked for the code in the book but its not there any ideas apart from using a caliper gauge

sorry to hijack , but my octy vrs has a wobbly steering wheel when driving seems worse around 60 , wheen i hold the wheel tight i can feel it vibrating through me , could this be a bush somewhere that has play in it , its a 2001 with 80000 on the clock . thanks mark

which one's do i get for the front arb do i replace the bush or bush and bracket and where do i get the set from

took a week for delivery(but they do come from australia)you might as well get the link arm bushies as well do the full monty on it :rolleyes:

put a spanner round the arb and that will tell you the right size to order mine was 19mill and its a 2001 vrs

might be your cv joint :thumbup: or even a crap tyre or bent wheel

should of said just had new tyres fitted and balanced, it did it before but seems a little worse now.

Right , well that makes things different....

Check and make sure all wheels are tight , they can come loose after they have been on for a while

Try also swapping wheels about , checking visually as your going

When car is jacked up , make sure there is no movement in the wheel bearings too
