Has anybody used wheelwax, and if so, what do you think?

.:: WheelWax ::.

Sorry mate not used it, used CG Jeatseal 109, Rimwax, Poorboys Wheel Sealant and Turtle Wax Wheel Wax but not that..........

Have a dig around on Detailing World for some people that may have use it..........

Perhaps a slight OT, but which one would you recommend out of those?

thanks Baker..does the jet seal make the alloys 'shinier', or does it just help prevent brake dust build up?

Jetseal is a sealant and should help the dirt wash off and stick less well.

Jetseal is a sealant but don't let that fool you............it does leave a very shiny finish...............:thumbup:

What happens if you use, say, an acid based cleaner on your wheels? Would this remove the protection/shine?

Hmm, I thought so. Thanks :thumbup:

I had to keep remembering this once I'd put PB Wheel Sealant or Collinite on. No more Virasol spraying on the wheels each week! I just use a drop of shampoo in a separate bucket now and they come up well with not a lot of effort.

Cheers Steve, that would have been my next question ;)

... with another washmitt and an EZ-Brush, to possibly pre-empt another question :D

No, you're wrong. Ha. I knew that already. :P

I am currently using a 10:1 ratio Megs APC to clean my wheels to ensure the Jetseal stays on and to be fair you shouldn't need anything stronger to clean them............EZ Brush always helps though............:thumbup:

Hi mate.

I really like the bilberry wheel cleaner as well. it doesnt remove poorboys sealant or collonite, great stuff. it can be diluted 10.1 or 20.1 with water so, 1 ltr for 8 quid goes a long way. bilberry is non acidic as well.

EZ detail brush is a must, well worth the cash. that and a swissvax soft brush. job done
