DIY servicing ?

Featured Replies

:cool:How many people service/repair thier own cars either to save money or just enjoy looking after them ? I certainly look after my Octavia and my wifes Fabia.

Me :)

Easy peasy on the Fabia vRS, i do 5k mile services and i know whats going in

I work on my own cars, Not for the fun of it tho! 8 years as a mechanic does that for you. Now its purely cost

Yup I do (unsuprisngly enough).

Yes, i do the services myself....purely for cost!

Save around £100 a time i believe, so around £200 a year if i do the services every 8k.

And then save naff all when you end up replacing the DMF every 18k! :'(
