hello...i think my standard dv is faulty so im looking at getting a new 1...would this one be ok for the car or should i be looking at somthing else?

thanks ill take a look...i seem to be looseing some sort of gas sometimes just seems like my dv is leaking...has anyone heard of this problem?..i dont no if it made the nosie before i fitted my induction kit but im thinking maybe it did and i could'nt hear it.it makes a leaking nosie when you start off slowly and then when the dv works on the gear change it stops then sometimes when you slow down for a second gear corner it will start doing it again until you change gear and the dv does its thing(weird)or could it be somthing else(not the turbo i hope):confused:

Could be a boost leak from a pipe, check the ones running from the inlet manifold to the turbo as they tend to be the ones to split.

I found mine by gently pushing down on the dipstick & you could hear it start to hiss then.

Lol i managed to stop it completly..... i took it off.

Seriously though it will never stop and thought mine at least was quite normal, just a bit of air going up the Cai. Kinda like if you have your window open a little, the noise it makes compared to when its fully open,thats what i thought anyway.

is your dv easy to fit?(do you need any other parts or stright fit?)..can you send me a link to were you got yours from?

I'm went back to the standard one, partly due to the size of the 006 and partly due to there being no performance gain. Some say that the standard one will split but i've had mine on for quite a while with this map with no probs.

The A is for the adjustment , which really you dont need

Just go for a 007P Awesome > Forge 1.8T+2.7T Diverter Valve just that one , will be OK

i nearly ordered the same one today from awesome..but i ended up getting a new green cone air filter to replace the crap 1 ive got..the dv is the next thing on my list ...is the dv a straight replacement for the standard one?

Yup but you will need some jubilee clips if yours still has the original "single use" clips on.
