Roomster Wiper blades

Featured Replies

I am now just about to go onto my 4th set since owning the car. Having been through all the usual options the best I have found so far are....

The ones you get from the dealer :D

They last about 10k, they look the best, work the best and they fit

The also only cost £18.82 for a set (Compare this to Bosch set I tried for £24.99 which were carp)

The part number is s5j2998001 (Fabia set A)

Did you ever give the tesco ones a shot?

Also if you look at the OEM ones you can carefully prise the endcap off. Once you've done this you can pull out the rubber and you might find you can refill it with your favourite brand of blade :)

Yep the tesco ones don't come in the right lengths. I went to many, many tescos and couldn't find the correct 21" length for the Roomy. I tried one 20" one but it wasn't great and obviously wiped less area than it should. These worked out at £8.99 each so not a great deal saved :(

Have one of the OEM blades in my hand and the way they are made is like the spoiler part of the blade is part of the wiper bit too so it's probably not going to be possible to make my own :(

Trust me if I could fit it with PIAA's I would be all over it!
