Help ! I have a Blaupunct Modena CD50 in Skoda Octy

which is coming up with the mesage "code locked"

I have the 4 digit code but cannot enter it.

You need to leave the radio powered on for a period of time, which will vary depending on how many attempts have been made in the past. The first one is usually somewhere between 15mins and 1hr.

That means powered on, and not switched off at all.

I cannot find out how the "code locked" error happened.

The person who had the car cannot say how it happened??.

I disconnected the power from the radio and when I reconnect it and switch on the ignition the clock comes on 0:00 and starts incrementing.

The menu button dosn't work and when I press the power button I get a blank screen.

This sounds like the "phantom power out" error that did for 2 Blaupunkts in Citroens for me.
