I think it looks ok, though I'd like to see some pictures of the vRS.

Are there any mods to the running gear / chassis with this facelift, similar to the MK6 Golf?

No vRS initially, and the running gear etc is all the same as the current model. The only differences are cosmetic.

It does have the 1.4TSI engine and a new version of the 1.8TSI, both with 7 speed DSG box optional.

now looks more like an e90 than an e90....

I wonder if they've put any soundproofing in this one?

BTW, I hate that new steering wheel!

The steering wheel in the pictures is just one design of several that vary depending on model.

i think it looks great. i love the exterior look, the steering wheel, the wood trim (although not around the radio and a/c) and everything else. problem is it makes all our octys look outdated now :(

I wonder if they've put any soundproofing in this one?

So do I! I'm sure I did place a bitter poll on how ugly is the new steering wheel, but it seems disappeared... big skodian brother is watching me?

looks like a smaller version of the Superb with its design.

I must admit the new octy and superb are a lot better face lifts than the Fabia.

SWMBO says it looks 'soft', and that when the VRS appears all the other sporty marques will laugh at it.

...interesting, by memory what hit me are only front lamps and steering wheel. Both have more curves which reduce IMHO the sporty look.

Honestly, I do prefer my VRS look a lot!!!

it be interesting when they bring the other models of the new ocatavia out, yes it looks nice but not to the extent that i will run down and order one.

blimely the fog lights have upto 3 bulbs in it! fog light, cornering light and daytime running light!

I wonder if you can at last change a bulb without a tool kit or removing the head lamps
