Cheap ICE

Featured Replies

Looks rather old alpine, but you can't really tell until you've had a listen to it.

It depends how much you want cheap against sounding ok IMHO.

Yeah, true, You get what you pay for I suppose.

Try stretching to a JVC or Kenwood - they make some decent budget stuff.

Pioneer seem to move their older models down to the £60 bracket and they always seem to sound as good as you can get for the money IMHO

I bought Niq something very similar to that for her car, it sounds ok but personally I would go for one of the better known brands as others have suggested...

I ended up with an Alpine CDE 9882Ri. Not cheap, but well worth it, I didn't realise that the previous owner liked his tunes, and had some decent Infinity Audio speakers and Amp fitted so the sound quality is class! And coupled to a £14.99 8GB memory stick from Staples, can't complain really. wouldn't want me Piepod being nicked after all.
