There was a TV commercial running a few months ago advertising a Sony waterproof camera. Small child hose pipe mummy’s camera, you get the picture.

Can someone please tell me the model number for that camera as I can’t find it on the net?

I don’t know about the Sony, but if you are in the market for a waterproof camera, I imagine one of the Olympus MJU range would be waterproof. Also many manufacturers make waterproof cases for their compact cameras.

That is the one. No wonder we could not find it under Sony. I will return to my padded cell away from the outside world.

You can get good / reliable housings for normal cameras if you want. I know Sony make some, but they're rather pricey :(

My brother in law had one for his Sony - unfortunately he slightly nipped the seal the second time he used it - in the sea.
