Can anybody give me any tips on what looks good(matching lcd coulours)with skodas colour scheme. Also do i need to buy any facias ?

You don't need a fascia trim, but you will need to either modify the wiring slightly, or buy a VAG ISO harness. You would also need a small adaptor to send power to the amplified antenna base.

I recently bought an Alpine CDA-9884 which can be set to illuminate green and IMHO, matches the Octy dash nicely. If you look at the spec's, you'll notice that some head units have the facility to change the illumination colour.

If you want an even more stealth/factory look then the Becker units have a good reputation, but they're not cheap!

If you decide to modify the wiring, it's very basic. You need to make sure the K-line is not connected and some head units require you to switch the permenant live and switched live around.
