Local VW/Retro Car meet today.

Was a good day and lovely weather.

Myself, Stuart_Hatch and Bennett VRS turned up with the Fabias.

Had a good chat with them, top guys!

Really good to see their motors in the flesh.

Lighting for the pictures was terrible and i aint a pro!

Yesterday was an SVAG rolloing road day.

Mudpuppy and myself had our cars on the rollers.

Was a good meet/day aswell.

Kays car made 131.5bhp if i remember correctly.

Mine made 168.1bhp.

yea was a good day, good to get a chat with you. Good bit of banter with everyone. Cars were all looking really smart. Shame you didnt have the anteras on, was wanting to see them in the flesh!

Took a wee wander up to see th Falkirk Wheel, and saw it moving, its something else. Couldnt go there and not go see the wheel! lol.

Can't believe I forgot about this, I remembered when I went past the signs for Falkirk on the way home today but everyone would've been gone by then!

Looks like it was a good event, some nice cars there, and the 3 Fabias look great

And thanx again for the pic of my car from yesterday. I'm having thoughts now!

65 Reg Octavia estate All my other windows work ok but on the driver's door window I have to hold down the button until the window is fully open. A quick press of the button closes it just fine but opening is the problem. There's no info in the manual that helps I can't help thinking I've had this problem before and somehow solved the problem but I can't remember how. My online research suggested holding the button down until it opened fully and continue holding for a few seconds, then closi

Hi, hopefully you won't mind my question here - I don't have an Octavia, but its close relative from a Spanish brand. But mechanically, they are same. Anyway, I have a 77kW CBZB. It worked flawlessly for the year I own the car, but when this summer started, I noticed occasional loss of power. It only happens in hot weather (around 30 degrees and up) with AC on. In most cases, it happened when I wanted to accelerate after mild climbing at lower gear at ~2000RPM. It feels almost like a limp mode

Hi everyone this has most probably been covered before I'm thinking of getting a stage 1 remap on my 2023 Octavia Vrs petrol . I've been looking it up and some people say I need a DSG tune as well is this true? any help would be grateful.

I have had an ongoing problem for 2 years with my 2018 Kodiaq .2.0l TSI battery losing charge over a few days and the battery charging randomly at different charge rates. To date I have had: 2 replacement batteries (at my cost) then under Extended Warranty (now expired) 1 replacement negative battery lead (with sensor) 1 replacement alternator Symptoms (monitored with Ancel Battery Manager device and multimeter) Battery discharges in a few hours from 100% SoC /12.8v to around 65% then conti

2017 octavia 2.0 tdi . smoke from exhaust, whistling noise from turbo, burning oil. smoke looks whiteish/blueish. turbo pipes all ok. burning alot of oil. no fault codes or eml lights. only light on dash is orange oil can light
