Heated rear screen not working on Octy II

Featured Replies

The performanc of my heated rear screen is shocking, light condensation takes more than 40 mins to clear, car going to dealer to have it checked next week, long with knock from n/s dashbaord & flywheel investgation.

Yeah, the Mk2 is timed too. 20 odd minutes though.

The Felicia/Octavia Mk1 and Mk2 all have very slow rear window heating for what its worth...

Don't remember having any issues with my Mk1, but I'd have to agree that the speed of rear window clearance on my Mk2 is disappointing.

Mine works just fine. By the time I reach the first traffic light I have a clear screen.

If yours is slow it helps to leave the Jumbo box vents open and pointed slightly upwards, also the center dash front vents, if you don't happen to have some air freshener stuck into them like I do.
