1.4 16v Fabia doing strange things!

Featured Replies

This was one of the faults that made me get rid of the 16v. After a number of trips to the dealer a faulty wiring loom was identified that kept the car in the dealer for 10 days or so.

Doing this work the dealer made the MW radio reception worse and wouldn't put that right so I changed it.

I had the car for around 6 weeks after the fix and it seemed OK in terms of the power loss.

Skoda UK were involved by the time it was fixed as one of their techies looked at it with the dealer staff.
