I picked up my latest vRS last week and I've noticed marks on the inside of the perspex cover for the instrument cluster. I didn't notice them when i picked the car up as they are only noticable when the sun shines from behind but they are definately on the inside of the perspex.

Can you access the inside of the perspex without much hassle or does it come attached to the instrument cluster?

Are you sure they are from the cluster. I had some marks that showed up when the sun shone from behind and it turns out it was nothing to do with the cluster at all. The fact you can only see them with sun from behind suggests the same.

With the sun from behind, small marks on the windows tend to project themselves onto the cluster perspex giving the impression of marks that you think are on the inside of the cluster because you cannot remove them, the cause is usually small marks or dirt on the windows. particually noticable when the car is clean and a small spot of dirt is on the drivers window.
