i have just found out that my crown gear has been blown apart from a rivet that broke ( common fault i here ) does anyone know where i can get new or second hand one from and what sort of price?? dont really want to change box as all in good condition apart from that!!:(

Have you stripped it as yet? Very raley does a diff rivet break and not take anything else with it.

Rebuild them quite often at work due to this. And you mad if you dont strip it right down and replace the bearings while your in there.

gearbox is striped is in medway transmision there are putting new bearings in but i saw it today and one rivit has broke taking out plastic gear for speedo and took 3 teeth off crown gear and comany are finding it hard to locate one that doesnt cost a bomb

HI i need crown and pinion the ratio is 3.6 gearbox number is fha25102

number under that is 371347

just need to find one as cheap as poss 2nd hand
