How is the rev limiter raised? through the remap?

My mates Hybrid revs and revs?

Can I ask where you got the flywheel from?

  • Author

the clutch and flywheel came from the bedford based tt shop, but it is very hardcore, lots of gear chatter at idle, but it is the ultimate flywheel for out and out performance,i would sugest a ride in a car equiped with a spec smf before buy one,i only knw of 2 cars running this set up,mine and jasons:thumbup:

I like it, very, very smart. Forgive my ignorance but do the SEs' already come with colour coded door handles?...

No pics of it from behind?...........

  • Author

yes they do:thumbup:

looks pretty good mate

I need a feature :(

My mate has a special fabia so maybe a faceoff photoshoot i think :)

  • Author

heres the little feature,he is a jap enthusiast so god only knows why he featured my car on what is an essentially jap car site:D

Dogboxmedia

As always looking fantastic Gary  After being around a track in this thing I think I can say that it is definitley a BEAST :D

Glad to see it's finally getting some recognition mate ;)

i think what is needed is a meeting of modded fabias, and a group feature,i think there are plenty of really nice fabias on this site.

i had a look at your feature and just read on down the page, the guys got a few typo's, 'TYPE L' Civic? lol

but i also seen this:

thats awesome!

Looks great, I'd finish the boot of with carpet or leather though.

think the actuall typo is tyle r civic:rofl:,he isn't a pro writer, hes a web designer, but his site is quite popular,i like it anyway(well i would:rolleyes:)but if you carry on looking you will find lots of real oddball stuff:thumbup:

i carried on through the first few pages, quite a decent blog so i've shared it on a couple of other sites i use ;)

Tidy! :D

Hmmmmmm.... looking very good

Always loved your vRS. It's about time it got featured.

Really nice motor

As said before your grill looks cool, also those Octavia spider wheels

look really nice, not too far removed from originals, out of interest if

I wanted to fit a set to mine, do they just fit straight on or are any

other adjustments necessary (forgive my mechanical ignorance) they look

so good I'd like some, so also where to get and how much, if you don't

mind me asking:)

Cheers.

the spiders fit straight on no worries, price wise, keep your eyes peeled on ebay,a scruffy set can go for under 100 quid for a good set they seem toname there own price, keep in mind unless they come off a fabia you will need to budget for new tyres in the correct size(205/40/17 or 215/40/17)good luck:thumbup: and thanks for the comments:D

probably the most sensibly modded Fabia in all of Briskoda-land (although SkudMissle had a good approach too)

thank for the comments guys:thumbup:

Nice one Gary! Those pictures look really good.

So when will the car be attacking the ring next?

Being a VRS SE owner and slowly heading along the lines you have taken I am loveing the pictures and the full list of items bought.

it looks awesome and to me is definately a model to be reconed with...

Why did you go for the EGR blanking, rather than EGR removeal...

are there any other little cheap trickery bits you have done but not mentioned.

anyway. looks amazing, probably goes like the dogs and definately an improvement on the original...
