Auroan's Audi A4 Saloon

Featured Replies

Well, running old cars for a bit is over.

I've now got a B7 2.0 TDI 140 A4 in SE spec. I haven't got round to taking my own pics... so attached are some I've aquired from the Audi ad.

I'm the 2nd owner, car has done 40K miles and is mint inside and out. I bought the car from York Audi (Ian Bell.... top bloke even took me out for a spin in the dealer's RS6 Avant demo)

Very nice, I have always liked that version of the A4.

Nice colour. Agree on the B7 as well, probably the best version for me as I'm not overly taken with the brand new shape.

I might like some bigger and nicer wheels than the SE offers, but

Yeah once the warrenty runs out (in a year :(), it'll be slammed on sline suspension, with 18" or even 19" alloys. Gives me a decent about of time to save up for mods, as this motor will be a keeper for me.

That's more like it

Good call on the SE I reckon too, as you get more kit than the Sport and it's not overpriced like the S-Line, which is of limited value anyway if you're going to add your own suspension and wheel setup :D

My thoughts exactly

Very nice mate

Always been a big fan for the A4. Great colour - Enjoy it Auroan.

Yep, lovely car.

Wish I could afford to leave the bangornomics club. Ho hum.

Enjoy it matey!

Remember, it could always be worse :grouphug:

Suppose so.

Got back in the 328 on Sunday morning after driving dads Xsara for a week. Battery was dead as a dodo, suspension is creaking worse than ever, and the door lock is just spinning round and round meaning I'm having to use the passenger door to lock/unlock. *sigh*. I miss having a warranty!!

Auroran, I guess this isn't staying standard for long - whats the plan?? :P

Yeah , you could still have the Corsa

Afraid it'll be staying like it is for at least a year. Don't want go any where near voiding the warrenty. But after a year... well, lets see how much oem kit I can add to it via retro fits.

Nice motor Danny and yeah top bloke that Ian, i got my vrs from him too.... hes my brother;)

Lol, wondered if you were going to mention that :D:cool:

Lucky *******!! Nice A4 though, lovely cars, would love the avant in a few years

Well that's a change from the last time I spoke to you mate?

What has happened to the other A4 you had bought and the Avant?

The 2.8Q was a money pit so traded it in... Avant is slowly being stripped of parts. Sold quite a few bits from it now.

The B7 A4 is immaculate and just couldn't walk past it with out buying it.

Sorry to hear that the Avant is being stripped as it was a good motor but looks like you have something very nice to replace it now..........:D

That's really nice!

  Well you lasted two months and two days!!!!

Does look good though - will we be seeing it at The Malt House on the 28th Dec?

  • Author

Yeah, guess my will power isn't that good with regards to my cars ....

And yeah the motor will be coming to the malt meet

The 80 isn't taxed and insured yet as it needs a little work to meet my standards

Looks far better; top job

And I knew you'd give in eventually! How's the overall ride compliance after the drop?

It's just the same as it was before to be honest. No harder , slightly little less roll in the corners but that's only just noticable. Feels just like an SE but looks lower.

It's no where near as hard as my old S-line.... but then again the sline had sline shocks and springs where as this SE has SE shocks and weitec springs.
