Rear Parking sensors

Featured Replies

hi all

just had to downgrade from my 07 L&K to a nice 2003 Elegance model.

i had factory fitted rear parking sensors on my previous octavia and would like them again has anybody any idea or fitted these ive seen on ebay

Item number: 310018409880rtCurve.gifim worried as there is a towbar fitted on my new estate and after fitting the sensors find they wont work so before that i thought id ask the question.

besides that very happy with the mark 1 its been 'chiped' and seems pretty fast even though its the 130bhp and fuel economy is amazing averaging well over 60mpg over last 1000 miles :) so all in all happy bunny

I fitted a set of ebay ones but I dont have a tow bar. Works very well so far.

i fitted some ebay ones to mine too, they were an exact color match (silver) and as long as you are happy taking the rear bumper cover off and some basic wiring they are well worth doing.

As long as you dont mount your sensors too near your towbar there should be no problem.

For the past six years I have used the 'Metasystems' reversing sensor system. No drilling of holes also has the added advantage you can take it off when you sell the car.
