installing heated seats into the fab, and i was wondering if anyone had done this RETRO fit before? I done a search but dosn't look like anyone has.

I also need to know what parts ill need? I am getting some new seats with the elements installed, i assume ill need a loom and some switches? anyone know the exact parts?

I've seen some guys site online where he retro-fits them into a comfort with oem switches but not sure it was an oem kit? I'll see if I can find it......

I had a look at vagcat.com and it seems it could be done all the parts are available and seems it may just be a plug and play type thing but parts work out quite dear.

You can get aftermarket kits (ie back and base panels) with two heat settings for around £60...

any update on this phil, would be nice to know if it can be done retro style without too much cost!!

Does anyone have anymore info about doing this? Im guessing the wiring might already be under the seats and in dash for this, just elements, switches, control unit will be needed perhaps?
