A friend at work has just brought a 2003 VRS and it has a knocking noise from the N/S/F and also a creak when you turn the steering. He has all ready replaced the lower arm bushes as they failed the MOT and he has tried a new anti roll bar, bushes and drop links. I suspect the top mount and bearing but I'm wondering if anybody else out there has come across this one before I go mad and get them fitted?

Could be the radiator mounts....

I had this problem on mine, and a few others on here have had similar.

Or could be a front suspension spring broken. It's common and they snap near the top of the spring so hard to see.
