Well, I'm game as long as there's not many of us. :D

Now to find a way to mount a camera in the Coupe......

that would be good, because some of your vids have been great, especially the one of me chasing you down hartside

Rear-facing is a bit more of a challenge, the car has no rear head rests, (you'll see why on sunday  ) so it'll be forward-facing on the dash. Might use the short mini-tripod and plenty of blu-tack method :D I'll see if I can sort rear-facing too.

A dry day will be welcome as the Kumho tyres that are on it are not impressing me in the wet, I'll be glad to get some T1-R's on when these are finished :)

weather says there may be the odd shower ;)

remember the passes are not really a fast drive though, just high and narrow! (and steep)

front facing would be good this time.....

Not sure what vRS to bring, but it will a black one :)

Pm sent...

well if we're doing the passes, the furby would have better torque characteristics to climb the hills (steepest roads in England remember!) .... er an the octy would have better brakes to go down the other side.... er... you decide ;)

hope this helps! lol...

Hmm weather forecast says sun, snow and rain  will have to see what it is like in the morning :)

Aye Im up for Wrynos and Hardknot passes, wanted to those for a while. See you all in the morning.

Thanks Dave

Hmmmm...... Free diesel and crap brakes? or power and brakes?

Looks like we will be in the Octavia then, plus it has only done 2 miles since

I washed it :)

no probs, sounds like you had a good night!

Looks like a good turnout. I'm sorry I couldn't make it.

I got up at 11am and logged on to see what time you were meeting

Where was the pothole which got Len? The Hardknott claimed my exhaust last weekend :thumbdwn:

Great meet as usual, that's the first time I've actually driven Hardknott, so I'm glad it went well  The Felicia Fun looked great and was a very surprising car! It didn't seem to have much trouble keeping up :D

I have loads of video to sort through, I'll have something up later on.

So unlucky for Len to have two tyres trashed, nasty :(

Great to meet some new faces though, looking forward to the next one in the new year !

just after the passes, heading out to birkley fell (the fast bit of the drive!)

we were driving around many potholes, but there was so much water , it was hard to tell where the holes were :o

hope len and family are home now :(

feel bad about leaving them there, but help was on the way!

look forward to the vid mike..... you kept up quite well too, untill we showed you an incline, and me and blackmagic buggered off :P you KNOW you want the V6 :D

If Hyundai stuck a TDi in the Coupe, it could be a winner!

I would LOVE the V6, but the wallet says no :( However, the 4 cyl is lighter and hence a bit more nimble. It did well, I was enjoying myself, though on the very twisty narrow stuff, it was definately less nimble than the Punto and Fabia, and as as for hills, damn you and your diesely torque :P
