You could look a 150bhp 1.8T with lower insurance, then remap as points disappear?

(1.8T elegance, 1.8T L&K, 1.8T 4x4)

check Skoda uk's used car selector search thingy for prices...

(taxiRS will be along shortly with PD130 L&K ownership info...)

buy a rover 75 that spits out smoke at the back there cheap...!

pah at this rate it will be a kilt lol

cant get any more points so slow diesel it is ;)

Presumably you are after the lowest insurance group possible for starters? The ABI rates the Octavia L&K as Gp 13A with a 1.8T engine and Gp 11E with the 110 or 130 diesel engines. Some insurance companies might however put the L&K 1.8T in Gp 14 as indicated in Parker's.

the first quote i got was 655 on the 130 with the 6 points that was on first direct so id imagine i can get it cheaper

stop it stop it im not getting a 75 i still have my own hair colour and no ear hair i cant have a rover 75 !!!!!!

last rover 75 comment on this thread ( from me ;) )

it uses a 2 litre bmw diesel, but it's definitely last generation.

115bhp as opposed to the current beemer 150bhp iirc, could be wrong.

The 45s are even cheaper than the 75s... :D

Rob.

The facelifted 45 with bodykit etc actually looks quite nice....

(I'm really sorry, off to beat myself with a birch bush once more)

Didn't they get that nice Peter Stevens chap to tidy it up a bit?

Rob.

Indeed they did...
