There isn't enough room for one under a Mk1 Octavia vRS seat.

Ah, that makes sense. Th Octavia has a metal bar under the seat about 2" above the floor but the Fabia has more space - for those under seat storage bins you can get.

might get one for the boot if it will fit into the mfd that i got

I have exacly one of those in my Octavia. Its in the boot tho on the left hand side in that recess. I bought the car with it already fitted. Also has a Blaupunkt stereo so just assumed it came with that.

Sounds really good tho for something so small, just balances the bass out nicely
